Health inequities persist for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Individuals with developmental disabilities experience poorer oral health and challenges accessing dental care. Providers often report feeling unprepared to care for this population. This CE webinar will evaluate the current barriers to care, identify complex factors contributing to oral health, and equip the dental provider with strategies to improve patient care for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
